Description
Monte Carlo aquarium plants (Micranthemum tweediei) are a popular, low-growing foreground plant that forms a dense, lush green carpet in aquariums. They feature small, round, bright green leaves that spread laterally across the substrate. To encourage compact, carpet-like growth, Monte Carlo requires medium to high lighting, carbon dioxide (CO₂) injection, and occasional trimming to prevent upward growth.
